本課程旨在提升學生在專業職場英文聽說讀寫的實務運用能力。依照本校科系屬性將職場英語學習內涵大致分為四大領域—工程、商務及管理、一般職場、餐旅。課程內容包括專業英語詞彙學習、聽講練習、職場相關領域文章閱讀與寫作訓練等。此外，也將全球英語（Global English; Globish）核心單字與基本句型適度融入課程學習與分組情境對話練習，除了提升學生專業領域英語溝通能力之外，同時能兼顧基本英語力之強化，以提升程度較弱學生學習信心。

本課程針對以下四個職場領域英語溝通情境主題與功能，引導學生進行英文詞彙與基本對話技巧學習與演練：
