This is a high-intermediate level reading course offered for juniors. It aims to help students acquire more vocabulary for academic purposes, learn essential skills and strategies for advanced reading, improve reading comprehension, and develop critical thinking.

1. 幫助學生熟悉英文閱讀技巧,例如根據上下文做推論。
2. 培養獨立閱讀英文文章之能力,例如如何掌握文章大意。
3. 閱讀不同類型的文章,強化學生辨識文章組織結構之能力。
4. 培養學生批判思考的能力。
5. 文章題材包含教育、文化、媒體、電影、科技、藝術、全球化、社會科學等各類型文章。

1. Students learn English reading skills, such making inferences from the context.
2. Students develop the ability to read English articles independently, such as understanding the main idea.
3. Students read different types of articles to enhance the ability of identifying text structure.
4. Students develop critical thinking abilities.
5. The topics of reading articles may include education, culture, language learning, media, film, technology, art, globalization, and social sciences.
