本課程主要介紹近年極受重視之通用設計概念，並配合設計討論及各國之實際產品說明，使選修學生能充分了解其理念，提升其設計能力。
This course introduces the universal design concepts that have been highly valued in recent years, and cooperates with design discussions to enable elective students to fully understand UD concepts and enhance their design capabilities.

透過通用設計之發展背景、定義和七大基本原則等基本概念介紹及設計討論，培養修課同學對於此一重要設計理念之瞭解，並進而轉化為進行產品開發及視覺規劃之創新思維來源。
