引導學生學習及探討離散數學、組合原理及電腦科學所需的基礎數學知識，提供學生進入電腦與通訊領域的學習主題，如資料結構、演算法及訊號處理等應用，本課程同時要求學生寫程式以實現之，以符合技職體系之實作要求。
