餐飲類的產品包裝是以食品為核心的系統工程，亦是餐飲加工過程中的最後環節。好的餐飲產品包裝設計對保護食品風味品質、方便貯運、提高或增加商品的附加價值和促進銷售等，扮演著關鍵性的角色，進而達到視覺與味蕾的平衡

讓學生瞭解包裝設計發展史,包裝設計的角色定位,瞭解外觀包裝的設計構思與表現形式等基本理論知識。透過實際案例演練與運用，來進行並完成餐飲食品的產品包裝設計。
