造園與景觀設計課程主要內容為對於環境設計範疇的理解與認識，以及在景觀設計技法的基礎訓練上，作一有系統的循序漸進的教學訓練，並以製圖課程為主，實際操練，使學生具備識圖能力，並具有設計方面的概念及技術。

休閒環境事業的開發或擴充設備過程中，培養學生具備參與提供基本構想、規劃、設計之基本能力，並在計畫執行過程及完成後的日常經營管理等一貫作業流程中，學得基礎的知識。

三、基本構想 計畫思想及主題
四、基本計畫 概念形成與具現化操作
五、基本設計 初步設計
六、實施設計 細部設計，尺規練習、手繪（free hand）練習、素描練習、樹形表現、鋪裝設計、棚架、石組配置、公園椅練習、個人作品設計等。
