本課程提供馬來西亞實用詞語、常用的詞語，在短期內能聽、說、讀、寫常用馬來西亞，例如：自我介紹、打招呼等，除此之外，透過馬來西亞電影及傳統音樂能更了解馬來民族的思想、習俗與文化。上課時先進行會話練習，鼓勵學員課堂上多多利用馬來西亞語交談、練習發音、語法、辭彙，進而開始了解語言的使用方法。課堂中亦介紹馬來西亞的風俗民情、歷史文化，並且與學員討論各自所認識、接觸到的馬來西亞文化。
