This course emphasizes the fundamental concepts of modeling and the use of spreadsheets in a business decision-making context, taking a hands-on approach to creating decision models using spreadsheets.

This course hopes to combine the student's power to logically model and analyze diverse decision-making scenarios with software-based solution procedures. Business which was possessed of a variety of different management situations always needs to face a great deal of decision problems. This course has a strong focus on three decision situations - The risky decision analysis, multi-criteria decision, and simulation decision - that occur frequently in general businesses. We try to achieve the perfect balance between the decision modeling process and the use of spreadsheets to set up and solve decision models.
