使學生了解工程人員應有的倫理觀念及倫理責任，並藉個案研討方式，當現實生
活與倫理發生衝突，面臨兩難局面時，引導學生藉由倫理思辨及正確決策過程，
培養分析複雜倫理問題之能力。

透過本課程可培養學生具備與了解
(一)具備人文關懷的氣質 人類利用科技應用於生活環境是應重視倫理層面的意義，透過授課內容、小組討論或有校外教學與協同教學能強化學生人文關懷的氣質。
(二)培養積極進取的態度 課程內容述及社會環境中，人類的主導性有顯著的影響，促使學生積極面對生活的狀況，適應生物之間的共榮共存。
(三)提供多元創新的學習 由於科技及工程廣泛應用在環境的議題，與生存息息相關，引導學生使用學習的知識，思辯環境遭遇的困難，在期末分組報告中，將所彙集資料，提出看法及實踐未來生活的目標。
(四)強化知識實踐的能力 本課程採取分組討論，透過議題立場思辨，強化學生倫理層面的知能，未來能更積極與具體實踐在生活及工作上。

Class will start promptly at the beginning of the University scheduled time for each
section. Make every effort to be at your desk — ready to work — five minutes before
class begins. Late attendance will be noted.
• Bring with you to class each day the texts of the assigned readings as specified on the
daily schedule. Careful textual reading and informed discussion together in class will be
essential to the internal dynamics of the course. The importance of this requirement
cannot be overemphasized.
• Turn off all personal electronic devices — including cell phones and laptop computers —
before the beginning of class. Refrain from eating and from reading non-related course
materials during class.
