課程概述
The purpose of this course is to improve students’ English listening comprehension and speaking fluency in everyday and academic situations. In this course, students will learn to understand and communicate about specific topics including technology, health, career, hot issues, and etc. To enhance their listening comprehension, students will listen to a wide range of spoken utterances including news reports, short stories and lectures. They will learn to discuss what they have listened to. By participating in pair and group activities, they will learn to extend and expand conversations in English. Students will also increase fluency, accuracy and confidence in public speaking through repeated classroom practices.
此課程的目的為培養學生英語聽說能力以利英語日常溝通。學生將學習理解並討論科技、健康、職業及熱門議題等。透過課堂聽力練習及小組討論,學生將能聽懂較長的英語對話,故事及英語新聞,並學習如何以英語進行其他日常活動,參與討論並做簡短報告。課堂實際演練亦能增強學生英語口語表達的準確性及流暢度,並能提升學生開口說英語的自信心。

9.聽懂簡短課堂演說並能提問及反饋。
10.看懂影片分享網站如You-tube 或影像網誌上較簡短的影片並能評議及討論。
11.運用下列文法要點進行溝通:

b.比較級+加強詞
c.祈使句
d.現在完成式
e.過去完成式
f.連接詞及副詞
g.名詞子句+形容詞子句

12. 展現更多英語對話技巧:
a.使用眼神來吸引對方注意。
